- Mix the Indigo Powder in warm water to prepare a paste.
- Apply this paste on hair.
- Leave for 45 minutes.
- Wash off hair thoroughly with water.
For brown hair:
Mix Indigo and Henna (1:4 ratio) with some hot water and let it cool.
Apply this paste on hair.
Leave it for 40-50 minutes (light brown), 1-2 hours (dark brown).
Wash off hair thoroughly with water.
For black hair:
Mix Henna with some hot water to make a honey-like paste and let it cool.
Apply this paste on hair.
Leave it for 40-45 mins to get rich black colour.
Wash off hair thoroughly with water.
Apply indigo paste on hair & leave it for 40-45 mins.
Wash off hair thoroughly with water.
Mix desired quantity of tamas pure ayurveda's henna and indigo powder in warm water to make a thick paste. For extra conditioning add curd or yogurt to the mixture.
Apply the mixture on hair & leave for 50-60 mins.
Rinse off hair thoroughly with water.

Indigo powder is used in combination with henna powder. Since indigo powder is a blue dye, applying it directly to your hair will leave a blue tint.
For darker shades like brown, auburn or black, use tamas pure ayurveda's henna and indigo powder together.

Suggested Use:
Mix desired quantity of tamas pure ayurveda's henna and indigo powder in warm water to make a thick paste. For extra conditioning add curd or yogurt to the mixture.
Apply the mixture wearing hand gloves, with a brush, to small segments of hair at a time, allow the mixture to sit for 50-60 mins. Rinse with water couple of times untill all henna washes out.
Do not use shampoo. In case of blonde, gray or white hair, you need to apply this in two steps. First apply pure henna and once you wash out henna apply indigo powder the same way.
If your hair is chemically treated it may take multiple applications to get desired results.
